Founded in 1925, this institution greets many international students every year,  promoting interculturality, social encounters and student life in general. Visiting the CIUP as a student will undoubtedly help you to create lasting bonds while practicing French.

Un café Français addresses foreigners, especially international students, who wish to learn French in a fun and pleasant setting, which also benefits from the FLE quality label. Bibliothèque Publique d’Information (Public information Library)

Part of the Centre Pompidou, the public information library is another Parisian  institution where students can  learn French language. In addition to many books and resources, the public information library offers self-training services dedicated to language learning: you can thus learn French (or any other language) by attending conversation workshops, or choose to use digital workshops. The BPI can also allow you to meet other international students and French speakers in order to develop your personal network.

Join a club

If you wish to learn French outside of college  or language schools, you can also choose to join one of the cultural/language associations around the capital. One of the most popular clubs is the Club international des jeunes à Paris, (international youth club in Paris) whose activities focus on cultural exchanges and social ties between French people and international students. Joining a club is an opportunity to enjoy concerts, theaters, museums and excursions in the heart of Paris in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Find the place that suits your taste!

These few examples do not exhaust the solutions available to you as part of your linguistic journey . Your stay in Paris should be an opportunity to explore and discover the capital, thus finding the places that correspond to your personal tastes and which will allow you to combine learning French, discovering French  civilization and meeting new friends.
