Whether you are a beginner or intermediate, these courses are therefore designed to help you progress quickly and reach a more advanced level according to CEFR criteria. The reinforced courses emphasize the acquisition of solid foundations in grammar, vocabulary and conjugation. This allows learners to express themselves more precisely and fluently, both orally and in writing. Oral communication is essential for interacting with native speakers or French-speaking business partners. This course therefore offers oral exercises which strengthen pronunciation and fluency of speech. The semester-long general and reinforced French course at CCFS also provides essential tools for writing correctly in French: students learn to compose clear and coherent texts, which is valuable in both an academic and professional context. Phonetics lessons are an important component of the course because they help learners perfect their pronunciation, understand the sounds of French and improve their listening comprehension. The semester-long general and reinforced French course can include a conference option: students then benefit from conferences on French civilization which add a cultural dimension to learning. International students have the opportunity to discover French history, literature, art and society alongside experienced lecturers. The semester-long general and reinforced French course formula is a real preparation for future opportunities, whether it is pursuing higher studies in France, jobs requiring mastery of French or travel to French-speaking countries. By strengthening their French skills, learners gain self-confidence, which is essential for interacting with native speakers and expressing themselves more fluently and convincingly.
