General French
Online courses are an ideal solution for people who, for professional or personal reasons, cannot enroll in and attend in-person classes. The Cours de Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne (CCFS) offers online general French courses, giving everyone the opportunity to learn with flexibility.
If you have a project planned in France, and/or you want to study the French language, the CCFS gives you the opportunity to progress at your own pace. Online general French courses help you perfect and strengthen your language skills, whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced learner. Lasting one month, this course encourages interaction and opens the way for you to discover the French language or strengthen your current level.
The CCFS also offers online intensive French courses – also lasting one month – which allow learners to perfect their pronunciation, strengthen their grammar, and increase their confidence in speaking and writing. Intensive French courses take place in a small group of 15 students, accompanied by dedicated teachers, for total immersion in the world of the French language.
Online general or intensive French courses take place daily, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Paris time. Each session is scheduled subject to a minimum number of participants and requires basic knowledge of French.
Oral Expression
Oral reinforcement courses via videoconference are an essential element of learning French, offering learners a valuable way to improve their communication skills. Oral expression courses at the CCFS aim to perfect pronunciation, increase verbal fluency, and develop the oral comprehension of international students.
Oral reinforcement courses via videoconference are characterized by their interactivity, with students having the opportunity to dialogue with instructors and their peers in real time, which promotes authentic and spontaneous communication. This allows them to become familiar with the accents, intonations, and subtleties of the language, while developing the confidence needed to converse in French in various contexts.
In addition, these courses adapt their content to the level and needs of the students. Whether it’s everyday conversations, specific professional topics, or cultural discussions, oral reinforcement sessions are adjusted to meet individual learning objectives. This personalization strengthens student engagement and helps them develop relevant language skills.
The oral reinforcement courses via videoconference offered by the CCFS are also valuable for improving listening comprehension. By listening to native speakers or experienced instructors, students become accustomed to the nuances of pronunciation and the speed of spoken language. This prepares them to better understand real conversations in French, whether in a formal or informal setting.
