History of the CCFS<\/h2>

The Cours de civilisation fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne (CCFS)<\/a>, founded in 1919, are affiliated with the Robert de Sorbon Foundation, recognized as a public utility since 2009. Each year, the CCFS welcomes students from all over the world, all eager to deepen their knowledge of the French language and French culture. The institution offers various French language teaching programs, thus contributing to the dissemination of French culture worldwide.<\/p>

The CCFS attract students from nearly 160 nationalities, particularly from Asia and America, offering a rich international experience. Located near the prestigious Sorbonne University, the CCFS offer high-quality teaching that has been rewarded with the FLE (French as a Foreign Language) quality label. This label, awarded by France Education International, recognizes the added value of the language courses and services offered by the CCFS.<\/p>

Located in the heart of Paris, the CCFS offer an ideal environment for complete immersion in French language and culture. Learning French is accompanied by the discovery of France and its heritage, in the prestigious setting of the Sorbonne.<\/p>

In 2023, building on their long experience, the Cours de civilisation fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne continue to play a major role in learning French and discovering French culture and civilization.<\/p>

CCFS Courses<\/h2>

The courses offered by the Cours de civilisation fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne are characterized by their richness and diversity. International students have the opportunity to take general or intensive French courses, or to opt for a curriculum combining French language learning and cultural discovery. The CCFS also offer specialized courses devoted in particular to business French, with “business French” learning possibly accompanied by a cycle of lectures. University French courses, in the form of master’s preparation, prepare students for further studies. The CCFS offer various options including online courses, evening courses or summer courses to better adapt to the schedules of those enrolled.<\/p>

Exams<\/h3>

As an approved examination center, the Cours de civilisation fran\u00e7aise de la Sorbonne allow students to take several French exams that meet the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. International students who wish to formalize their level in French can take the DELF B1, DELF B2 and DALF C1, with the CCFS also offering preparation for obtaining these diplomas. It is also possible to use the CCFS to take the Test de Connaissance du Fran\u00e7ais (TCF) as well as the TCF IRN, which facilitates administrative procedures (residence permits and naturalization).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
