Our preparatory course for the Diplôme Approfondi en Langue française (DALF) , which allows entry to a French university under certain conditions. The preparation of each unit corresponds to 12 week of courses, 4h per week.
- DALF C1 Unit (Monday and Thursday):
| Oral comprehension: | Answer comprehension questionnaires on recorded documents. |
| Written comprehension: | Answer comprehension questionnaires on idea texts (literary or journalistic) of 1500 to 2000 words. |
| Written production (scientific or literary option): |
 Summary of essential facts extracted from numerous written documents of approximately 1000 words in length.
Argumentative essay based on contents of documents. |
| Oral production (scientific or literary option): | Presentation based on written documents followed by a discussion with the jury. |
- DALF C2 Unit (Tuesday and Friday):
| Oral comprehension and production: | Test divided into 3 parts:
report of a sound document (two listenings)
personal development of the problems outlined in document
discussion with the jury. |
| Written comprehension and production (scientific or literary option): | Production of a structured text (article, editorial, report, speech ...) of about from 2000 words from a compilation of documents. |
| Exam registration : | Registration for the exam is done directly in the examination centres abroad as in France. The list of abilited centers in France and abroad is available on the CIEP website . Paris DALF exam centers: CIEP, Université Paris 3 (DALF C1, C2). |
Course registration fees: € 600 for 1 unit
The advantages of this course: The DALF is awarded by the French Ministry for National Education, Higher Education and Research.
Our advice: allow for the DALF registration fees collected by the test centre.
Comments: limited number of places, competence assessment test before final registration. |
