You have to be at least 16 to register to the TCF
The number of places for each session is limited.
The TCF certificate is valid for 2 years.
Complementary examinations of spoken and written expression can only be taken separately if the candidate has already passed the compulsory examination.
You have to wait at least two months before you can re-register for a TCF examination, except in the case of complementary examinations.
The TCF online registration is valid only for the candidates who whish to be registered for sessions organized by the CIEP-Sorbonne Centre.
If you already took a TCF examination, you have to indicate your former candidate code during the online registration process.
If there are no places available for the desired TCF session, another date will automatically be suggested to you.
Online registration for the TCF is carried out via a secured connection.
No refund or deferment of fees paid will be possible after the official end of registrations.
The day of the examination, no refund or deferment of payed fees will be accepted in any case. Only a registration for the next session (out of 60 days before any compulsory re-registration) is accepted with proof: illness (medical certificate), transportation problem (canceled flight), etc.
You must present yourself at the TCF session with an official ID with photograph (no student cards) and your convocation. If you do not, you will not be allowed to take the test.
You have to come 15 minutes before the hour indicated on your convocation. No delay will be tolerated.
You have to sign a registration list at the beginning of each test.
Only black ball point pens are allowed to fill in the answer form of the compulsory test.
You are not allowed to use any kind of book or documents during the test or risk being excluded (no grammar book, dictionary, etc.).
You have to return the subjects of the TCF examination to the supervisor. It is absolutely forbidden to take them home.
The exact hour of the oral expression test is given to each candidate the day of the session.
You may not cause disturbances during the examination or fraud during it or risk being excluded by the supervisor who will report to the School Commission. Your test will be cancelled and it will be up to the School Commission to decide what sanctions to apply.
