Since the end of the year 2006, we decided to restore an old tradition of the French Language and Civilization Courses of the Sorbonne by organizing a solemn graduation ceremony. On the basis of a royal decree of 1762, all the students who succeed to their end of session examinations are invited to this honorary ceremony to receive their diploma.

This ceremony gathers of course all the students of the session concerned and their professors, the Direction of the Courses and personalities, such as the ambassadors of the countries of the origin of the students.

It is in highly prestigious places, charged of history, like the Grand amphithéâtre de la Sorbonne that are concluded the sessions of the CCFS.

The students who failed to obtain their diploma can attend the ceremony as a simple spectator by asking a personal invitation during the handing-over of this certificate.

The students who obtain their diploma carry the held university, offered free (toga, collar and hat).
