Lectures on society and French culture are given by eminent specialists throughout our sessions to allow students to improve their knowledge of French civilisation. They also allow them to improve their comprehension of spoken French.
These lectures are an integral part of most of the courses available.

Winter and Spring Semester lectures
Each semester, a series of weekly lectures is proposed to students. Various themes are covered: history, literature, politics, art history, geography, etc.

Summer lectures
Throughout the Summer, various lectures are proposed to students to illustrate and explain the modern and contemporary aspects of French civilisation. They cover many areas: literature, art, society, Europe, major figures of French culture (Napoléon, Zola, Céline, Matisse, etc.).
Autumn lectures
Three weekly 1-hour lectures are proposed to students during the Autumn session: they deal with literature, art history and history.
Sorbonne dans la Ville
